Former Detroit Tigers center fielder Derek Hill is back in the big leagues after a red-hot start to the season in Triple-A. The Texas Rangers selected Hill's contract on Tuesday and put him in the starting lineup for their game against the Phillies in Philadelphia. Hill was hitting .333 (43-for-129) with 10 doubles, four triples and eight home runs with Triple-A Round Rock. Hill, 28, was picked by the Tigers in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2014 draft.
